I only gave two stars because the staff issued a refund quickly. Not that the lady was super nice the night we checked in. She seemed like she hated her job. We didn’t care it was a motel. We were tired. We weren’t expecting the ritz. We expected certain standards. But what we did NOT expect was to be punched in the face with a MASSIVE stench of dog urine. That’s the only way I can describe it. It was so bad. I almost threw up. When we went back to the front and told her we couldn’t stay here and why, it’s almost like she knew the rooms were bad.

The only thing that was different and or messed up this visit was the shower/tub was leaking/broken and the lady that normally is there every year wasn't there to check me in this year. Room and bathroom extremely dirty, bugs, knats, and the beds made a drum noise every time you moved! Not worth the room cost at all. The pictures online were misleading. Front desk stated all the beds in every room were like this. Afraid to take a shower.

Don't...just don't!

The stay lasted all of 5 minutes. Yes, it was a smoking room but there was no fire alarm/smoke detector in the room. The box springs were squeaky and the active railroad track has to be 75 yards away. I left. Conversely, the front desk clerk was nice & understanding. Hotels.com was amazing in helping to resolve this situation.

Very old run-down. Went to ask for clean towels as the ones in the room were dirty. Clerk came back with a bath towel, but said she couldn't find a face cloth for me. Then said, "we've had construction workers." Have no idea how that explains the lack of towels for guest. Eggs & gravy were cold (not room temp, but cold). Muffins were stale.
