Couples Getaway

Such a beautiful place and location! It’s close to the pier, where you can walk and grab some food and drinks. We had a couples getaway, the deck was perfect to watch the sunset. The beach is literally across the path with free beach chairs to use. The only negative thing I can say about this place is the tiny showers in the rooms. We will definitely be back, such a relaxing place to go!

The place was nicely updated but, tiny. There is no parking on the premises so, you have to park on the street and move your car every 4-hours to avoid a ticket. There may or may not be a parking pass in the room so, plan on a some inconveniences when you first arrive. Other than that, we enjoyed walking around the area and the close proximity to public transportation for visiting points outside the city.

Our room was small for three people, but it met our needs for seven nights. We loved the proximity to the beach. No housekeeping came to our room during our stay, so after sleeping there for a full week, we were ready to leave because we needed fresh towels and clean sheets. The property has beach chairs, beach towels, and sand toys available for use, which was awesome for us (a family with small children). My favorite part of the stay was sitting outside on the sun deck (it is so nice!) while reading a book and drinking my morning coffee. Our room did not come with a parking garage space but we never had any trouble finding a place to park on Pacific Street.

The first red flag was the presence of homeless individuals sitting outside the community, and the entrance door to the property lacked proper security to prevent unwanted guests from entering. Upon entering the unit, we noticed black staining beneath the fold-out bed that appeared to be mold. Both my wife and I have asthma and are extremely sensitive to mold, and we began experiencing coughing and difficulty breathing during and after our stay. When we arrived, the unit had a strong odor of rot and mildew, consistent with mold. We attempted to call the number provided twice but received no answer. With no front desk available, we had no way to resolve the issue in person. We also contacted the property through the listing site, but all we received was an apology. We were promised a clean and safe environment, but that was not what we received. We are now sick and waiting to recover. We believe a refund is justified under these circumstances, but it seems unlikely at this point. We will never stay again and definitely recommend others don’t stay as well.

It surprised me how small room was, but my main concerns were "dead zone', calls dropped while walking in or out of room. Once in room if you weren't on wifi, txt dropped, couldn't send any information via txt, or email. And room 201 is at end of building, no where near beach view.

Great oceanfront location, tiny bathroom

When we arrived it was confusing where we were supposed to park. We were instructed to download an app but it wasn’t helpful. Customer service was responsive when we arrived but proactive instructions would have saved us time. The location close to the beach was lovely. Saturday morning they hosted yoga and coffee. That was fun. The bathroom was incredibly tight. No wiggle room. No counter space. The shower door bathroom door couldn’t open well. The bath mat didn’t fit. It was well decorated. No view of the ocean from the room unless you stood outside the front door.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the location is about a 10 min walk to restaurants, icecream shop, surf shops etc. The unit had a garage that is only big enough for a small suv, I did see a 4 door tacoma inside one. We used our garage to store our surfboard, scooters, skateboards and toys.
