I guess you get what you pay for and in terms of value for money it was fine. The facilities are very 'tired' with many things due renovation or even a coat of paint. It was basically fine other than the shower that was very poor. Food was fine and the staff were generally very pleasant and helpful.

Great stay with smiles.

This is second trip with my spaniel and I enjoyed it more than 1st time. Gardens are beautiful and large ( great for doggies). Room spacious and clean and red hot water. Good lovely food and breakfast excellent. People were very friendly. Mention Steve on bar excellent service Jacquie on reception and indeed all the staff whose names I forget but faces I do. Newly refurbished interior - smart and comfortable with -'stately home' style, including grounds,environment. Friendly and welcoming staff.Well presented breakfast. Apparently newly acquired the exterior will eventually be restored.
