Hotel was in a great location right by the main attractions in Old Town. Rooms were nice but the bathroom door was sheer and so the light poured into the entire room. And the shower door would not close fully so water got everywhere. Since taxis can’t come down direct to the hotel, it was somewhat confusing for some drivers, but a quick 3 minute walk to another stop was no issue. Staff was extremely attentive though and very helpful.

The location in the old city made it a great choice. With a 5-minute walk to the Hagia Sophia, we were thrilled with its convenience. The room was spacious and comfortable for two friends to share. What added to the experience was the tour guide the hotel arranged for us to do a private tour. Not only did he know his stuff, turns out he trained many of the guides running group tours. I doubt we would have found such an exceptional guide on our own.

Small hotel located extremely close to Aya Sophia and Topkapi Palace. Perfect base for sightseeing--15 minute walk to spice bazaar. Many restaurants near by. Staff was friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendation, ordering cab to airport (notice cabs cannot pull up to front door of property as its in a historic district).

The st. Sophia hotel is in the beautiful old city area a walking distance to major tourist attractions. We were very pleased with the hotel service. The pickup from the airport was organized perfectly by the hotel. On the way back to the airport they called a taxi at 4:00 am & helped us with the luggage. There were 3 or 4 hotel workers in the lobby ready to help at 4am!!! Excellent service at st. Sophia hotel!!!

Had a great stay. The staff was extremely helpful in helping me book dinner reservation and even tours. Some of them being super last minute. Also the location of the hotel was excellent. It could be a little noisy seeing that it’s right across the street from the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. But I didn’t really mind it.
