Had a slight issue getting into the property when we arrived, was given the wrong code but went to the front desk and it was fixed right away. I had communicated and confirmed check out time via email prior to arrival but housekeeping showed up an hour early and we felt very rushed. Furniture is pretty worn and outdated, sheets and towels arent the best quality. Besides that everything else was lovely. The property was clean, quite, and well maintained. The location was perfect close to the beach and in a nice area with lots of coffee shops and restaurants near by. Overal, we really enjoyed our stay here.

We love The Palms. It’s spacious, quiet and private. It gives you an opportunity to cook/prepare food in your condo rather than going out to eat every day. Love the location. It was large enough for my family of 6 to relax and be comfortable. The beds were terribly uncomfortable. The unit we were in the rugs were stained and worn out and could stand to be replaced or cleaned. The patio area was nice although I wish it was cleaned up from tree debris. We got in late and I appreciated that it was easy entry and the lamps were left on so we could see. I would hesitate to stay again only due to the beds that felt like a pull out couch.

Great one bedroom 2 bathrooms apartment with view of the ocean. There is a nice attached balcony. The area around is very walkable and a 5 minutes drive to the Wailea beach and upscale shopping at the Shops at Wailea. There is a relatively comfortable sofa and bed in the spacious living area. Only nit pick is master bath has no attached door.

The property was just okay. The shutters were very dust and the the master bedroom bed had a sheet that was 1 size too small and just kept coming off. The whole master bedroom all the way to the bathroom was carpeted, which made it musty on top of the typical Hawaii humidity. The ocean view, however, was beautiful. The lawns and outside surrounding property was well kept.

Never updated condo from the 70s. Dirty fan blades and doors, broken glass covered with packing tape, patio screen off its tracks, loose screw on another patio door track making operation difficult to name a few things. Pictures do not match the individual condo rented. The outdoor grounds and pool, however, were very nice.

What I like about this place is it was close to the beaches and restaurants. What we did not like is that we have to pay extra for the AC in the second room and the living room. It was not disclosed when we booked. There was some mossing kitchen items. We requested for non smoking but it smelled cigarette inside the unit.

In need of a upgrade

The unit was very dated and in need of a current upgrade. Plumbing was original and made squealing sounds when in the shower. The built in AC unit (original) in the bedroom did not work so a temporary plug in one was In use. No AC on the rest of the unit. Outside all was very nice including the pool. For the cost and being in Wailea it should be much better. I think some of the units may be updated, so when booking look closely at the photos. The pool and hot tub were great!
