El Sendero stands out among the options in downtown Santa Fe for being reasonably priced, while clean and modern. While the rooms are a little small, the beds are comfortable and the staff is fantastic. It's within a five minute walk of the downtown plaza and numerous restaurants, and about the small distance from Canyon Road, with the entry into the National Forest being about a 30 minute walk.

Look - this isn’t the nicest hotel/motel in the world, but it’s certainly not the worst. It’s a B+ in my book. And considering how much less expensive it runs than everything around it, I would recommend staying here, for sure! Great location. And don’t miss the Chinese restaurant! It’s fantastic. :-)

The room was clean and fairly spacious. The beds were very comfortable. Nice water pressure in the shower and an actual working window in the bathroom to let some fresh air in. Loved the location and its proximity to the plaza. Would definitely stay again.

The location is excellent, close to the town plaza and the art galleries on Canyon drive. Plenty of parking but had a charge of $10/day. Overall a good value for the money if you are looking for a basic motel.

Clean comfortable room, recently updated and well laid out. Beautiful landscaping and colorful plants everywhere. Great location for walking the town. Close to restaurants and museums. We would definitely stay there again.
