The staff were friendly and the food at the restaurants was generally good. However, the dinner dining options were too limited, which was disappointing, and although the villa had a kitchen, it required an extra fee to use it, so I didnโt understand the point of having one.
Cleanliness was the biggest issue. The common areas, such as the living room floor, dining table, and sink area, didnโt feel properly cleaned, and it seemed as though the individual rooms and bathroom floors were hardly cleaned at all. The toilet wasnโt cleaned daily, and when the shower gel in the shower ran out, even though it was left on the floor, it wasnโt refilled for several days. The pool water quality also wasnโt very good. On top of that, the coffee pot was nasty, with white mold inside that looked like it had been there for weeks.
Another challenge was that the staff spoke very little English, which made it difficult to communicate our needs. Overall, staying there wasnโt terrible, but it wasnโt a very comfortable trip either.
