Dirty underwear

Upon arrival everything was going smoothly, staff was friendly and even brought our rental crib and stroller to our room before our arrival. On our 2nd night our toilet overflowed during my shower, the lever became loose and caused the tank to overflow. Maintenance was quick to correct the problem and all was fixed. Unfortunately, on 5/2/25 while getting ready for the day I found a pair of used women underwear. I called the front desk letting them know about the situation and I requested for a deep clean of our room while we were at California Adventure. Upon our return I realized that our room was in the same condition we had left it in. I informed the front desk and they offered to have it cleaned. I denied the offer due to my family being tired after a long day. I addressed the entire situation to the front desk on 5/3/25 just before checking out and was offered free parking as compensation for the incident. Overall I was just disappointed as I felt there was no sense of urgency to correct the issue. A photo will be attached below and I look forward to your response. Respectfully, Not so happy customer

Family friendly

Hotel was clean and great for kids. Having a kitchenette available with the extra room was nice. Continental breakfast was excellent! Pool and hot tub were big enough to swim, kids had fun. My only complaint was the bar never served food… Wanted to get a little tidbits for the kids. They did have a small convenience store, however.

Not up to standard but okay

I recognize that this hotel was less expensive than others in the area so I wasn’t expecting anything super nice, but I do feel like Marriott hotels are usually held to a better standard than this one. The staff were very friendly, no complaints there. But this hotel has 2 elevators and they are completely insufficient for the number of rooms there are. At one point, one wasn’t working and it was taking around 10 minutes to get on an elevator that wasn’t full. I’m fine with stairs but the stairwell closest to us did not exit on to level one indoors but rather went straight outside so that wasn’t even a great option. The room was a bit shabby and everything felt like it was on the verge of breaking (e.g the door on the dishwasher took several attempts before it would stay closed, etc). I had a room with 2 queen beds and a pullout couch that was supposed to sleep 6 people. But there were only enough towels, plates and cups for 4 people. Of course, the staff was accommodating and got me some extra towels and an extra blanket but we had to deal with the insufficient kitchenware. If it sleeps 6, there should be enough for 6. As positives, it is close to Disneyland and taking an Uber back and forth was very easy and inexpensive (we also drove and parked one day but that took a bit longer). My kids enjoyed the pool. The breakfast area seemed to stay stocked with food to keep up with the rush which was probably thanks to hardworking staff.

Mini family vacation

The only two things things I have to say that wasn’t great about the hotel was that the couch that pulled out into a double bed was very uncomfortable for my grandchildren. Springs were poking in their backs and it was very uncomfortable. Also, the luggage carrier to put your luggage on take up to your room they were only about four of them for the whole hotel. People were grabbing them from people. We had to wait an hour check out time is 11 AM. We didn’t finally get checked out until 12:30 PM waiting for one of those luggage carriers to get our stuff bring it down to our car….
