Nice get away place, the restaurant buffet had the best service the morning crew even had coffee available bright and early. The views were stunning and watching cruise ships in the morning was a nice start to the day. Take a walk down the beach and check out the crocodile. We went for a long weekend and we thought it was a relaxing little getaway

Well I don’t even know where to start… Got there at 4pm room was not ready Lobby was awful so outdated.. Rooms outdated .. food was disgusting … we ended up going Out to have our 3 meals somewhere else. I really tried to get my moneys worth since we did pay a pretty good amount for the 3nights… Not sure how this place gets a 4 start.. honestly it’s been one of our worst stays… Rooms bathroom had a mildew smell AC not working fan falling off the ceiling …I rate this place 2 1/2 …

Adverse as a 4 star… definitely not a 4 star more like a 2 start property. Very outdated. The fold was horrible. Key/ doors lock would not function properly. Bad odor in my room, dirty rooftop swimming pool, iron and hairdryer old and damaged. Loud AC. Room sliding door without a lock. Rude maid service. And the worst was the blood stained curtains. Do not recommend.

Property is getting dated but then so are most in the area. Food is just OK. We stayed in a honeymoon suite which was worth the extra cost. The toilet paper holder was falling off the wall when we arrived and was not address during our stay but that may be because they did not want to disturb our stay. You may also want to bring your own hangers as 4 is not enough if you like to hang your clothing. Restaurants on the adult only side need to be changed. The Mexican is OK but the other two were not as good as the family side. More options for breakfast would be a great addition. We avoided the family side buffet all but once as there are to many kids and we are retired seniors that have been there and done that.

We enjoyed our stay at Crown Paradise Golden. Although the place is a bit outdated, there are still a lot of things this hotel has to offer. The buffet lunch and dinner were great, a lot of options to choose from (you can also try going to the Club side for additional options). Omar and Andrew were always helpful at the buffet area. I would also commend Perla (host at the Buffet) for always greeting us with a smile. We also booked dinner at Salvador's and Paradise. We enjoyed the food and service at Salvador's more. The head waiter, Carmelo, was certainly a joy to talk to. They have a lobby bar for drinks, bartenders are always happy to serve especially Isaid Abad. He introduced "Mexican Water" to us, Thank you so much! Celia always made sure our room is clean and would always check if we needed something more. Gracias, Celia! The beach at the hotel is nice. Smooth sandy beach. They also have nightly activities at Club Nitro. Very entertaining. Overall we enjoyed our stay here, hoping they will start remodeling their rooms.
