Staff was courteous, room was clean. Paying the $40 amenity fee per room upon arrival was unexpected. The water pressure in the shower was a trickle, barely any water pressure at all (hard to get shampoo out). Toilet ran all night long. The hotel ran out of self parking spots so we had to park across the street in a dirt lot which wasn’t ideal. The restaurant was great!

The good: truly gorgeous, vibey design that holds true to the original character; comfy beds; spacious room (we were in an oasis king); restaurant and poolside bar onsite. Great landscaping in the pool area. Drinks were good. The could-be-better: need more lounge chairs - better use of poolside area; paper thin walls meant every word by our loud neighbors was as clear as if they were standing in our room; no follow through on customer service calls as they outsource to a message service that promises resolution but no action is taken. Location is decent - across from Moorten’s Botanical Garden, Mr Lyon’s (and Seymour’s Bar). 12/10 recommend both! The door adjoining our room to the one next to it was unlocked, and no way to lock from our room, posing a security issue. Called twice was assured that it was being forwarded for resolution but no one ever contacted me back.
