You really can’t beat the location of this hotel. It’s a 15-minute walk from the train station and situated right at the end of the main street. Everything you need—bars, restaurants, a supermarket, and a laundromat—is within easy walking distance.
The staff was very nice and attentive, and the breakfast buffet was a great highlight of the stay.
Regarding the accommodations: our room was on the top floor. It is worth noting that the elevator only goes to the floor below, so you have to take a flight of stairs to reach the final level. Our room featured a small porthole-style window and a skylight rather than a standard window. Since we spent most of our time out exploring, it wasn't a major issue for us, but if you prefer a full view or more natural light, I would definitely recommend requesting a room on a lower floor in advance (or with no stairs).
My only concern was the WiFi. It was sporadic and very weak during our stay; I’m not sure if that was due to being on the top floor, but it was the only reason I took a star off my rating. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place for its cleanliness, affordability, and prime location.
