Cancelled room with no notification

If you cannot make the first night of your reservation, even if you paid for it, be sure to call and tell them you will be there the second night because they will give away your room the next night and leave you stranded like they did my family. The woman at the front desk offer no assistance, but plenty of attitude. Will never stay here again.

The hotel is completely outdated. The hotel is starting a major renovation, but its condition is not acceptable for a Hampton Inn. It should have had this major renovation 10 years ago!! It is charging hefty prices for a completely outdated hotel!!!

The bird infestation was troubling. Our view of the lake wasn't as pleasant as my last visit due to all the bird poop on the window. Otherwise everything else was fine. A little TLC on the peeling wall paper is needed. The staff in the breakfast area were exceptional.
