Great historic hotel & comfortable stay
Malaga Inn was a great hotel in the heart of the Mobile downtown district. The king room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff and Jordan - owner was very nice and greeted us. We will definitely book another stay when we are in town.

It was a very charming inn with a great amount of history attached. The room itself was clean, but did have some wear and tear to the bathroom area.

10/10 would recommend
The lady who checked us in Wednesday night (4/9) was amazing! I wish I could remember her name but she was the assistant manager and was extremely helpful. This is a beautiful property and we would absolutely stay here again if in the area. So much charm. We loved this property and the staff.

The Charm and Hospitality of the South
Great place and wonderful location that is in the heart of the historic district. Lots of interesting places are within an easy walk. I loved the large oak trees on and near the property. The management went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and represent southern hospitality very well. I enjoyed the courtyard and it's peaceful ambiance.

Could be better
Wonderful antique design with the fountain and exposed brick features, but completely lacking a mini refrigerator and microwave would be completely wonderful, not to go down to the kitchen. Just to reheat fool items.

April stay
The property itself was very nice for an older historical “haunted” hotel. However, the beds were really high from the ground and its hardwood floor. I had to make a pillow bed on the floor for me and my 1 year old. Had I known this I would’ve picked a different hotel. The stairs are also kind of dangerous for children. So if you have little ones traveling with you reconsider this place, without children absolutely stay it was a cool experience.

Historical, but needs upgrades.
The location was excellent, and the courtyard was beautiful! However, that is where the good part of the trip ended. The elevators were out of service, which made carrying luggage and issue, especially since we are older. The room was in need of upgrades. The A/C was noisy, and the bath curtains had mold on them. The front desk clerk was extremely pleasant, which tempered how we felt when we left. She was working without any assistance, which made check-in a bit long. It could be a great place to stay if they did some renovations. It has been there since the 1860's. So, we get that some work might be needed. We probably wouldn't stay there again.
