Beautiful hotel in a fantastic town. Just stayed one night on a family road trip down on the Blue Ridge Parkway, but definitely planning a trip where we stay longer. It’s within walking distance of great restaurants. We personally loved thr blowing rock brewery.

A little getaway

Old hotel in great location. Able to walk to shops and restaurants downtown. Our room was spacious and appointed with new modern furnishings, but the room needed a deep cleaning- dusty baseboards and handprints on bathroom door, candy wrapper under the bed. Good, basic hot breakfast and fresh fruit, an added bonus. Friendly and helpful staff. Just an overall feeling of not being well-maintained in exterior appearance and landscaping. A bottle of wine and Happy Anniversary card was an unexpected treat!
