My stay at Nagoya Sakae Green Hotel was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The room was shockingly small, with a narrow bed and terrible sound insulation. Noise from the street and from the ventilation systems of the building directly opposite was constant and extremely disruptive. On top of that, a strong unpleasant smell kept coming in, making the environment unbearable.
Temperature control was another major issue. The heating was forced on, and when I asked to switch to cooling, the hotel refused. I was told to open the window instead, but the window opened directly toward another building so close that you could almost reach across and touch it. This was unsafe, unhygienic, and completely unreasonable. The noise and odor from outside made it impossible to rest. If I had known about this window situation beforehand, I would never have booked this hotel. Honestly, I believe no reasonable guest would choose to stay after seeing it.
The Wi-Fi was extremely slow, barely usable for even basic tasks. Security was also a serious concern: anyone from the street could enter the elevator and access guest room floors without a key card. The elevator was essentially open to the public, which is unacceptable and dangerous for guests.
Overall, the stay felt misleading, unsafe, and far below the standard promised. To make matters worse, the hotel refused to provide any refund or compensation despite all these problems. This left me feeling cheated and completel
