Upon my initial arrival, the room had a strong unpleasant odor. The front desk declined to accommodate my request for a room change, despite my prior conversation with a live agent from Hotels.com. We endeavored to find a solution, as the front desk claimed that there were no available rooms. The live agent subsequently called to request a refund, but the front desk refused. Furthermore, the toilet was non-functional. I notified the front desk of the issue, and the staff member attempted to rectify the problem, but unfortunately, it remained unresolved. He then offered to investigate the possibility of an alternative room, which puzzled me, given the front desk's earlier assertion that no rooms were available. Within a few hours, I tried to settle down and discovered that the toilet was not working. I asked for assistance, so the guy checked it out. He moved me to a new room. The room was much cleaner.
