We enjoyed this hotel’s beauty, location and comfortable accommodations. The entire staff was also very professional and helpful. They helped us book tours and water taxi transportation also. The breakfast at the hotel was also delightful and we enjoyed the courtyard setting. We enjoyed many local restaurants within a 5 minute walking distance from the hotel. The shopping area was about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. We highly recommend the Hotel ai More d’Oriente.

A lovely hotel set in a quiet area of Venice, but only 30 minutes walk to San Marco. There are plenty of small local restaurants within 5 minutes of the hotel with seafood being the local speciality. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful in giving us some suggestions of where to eat, making bookings, and the best ways to travel round the city. It had a great small bar, also with excellent service. The breakfast was good with a wide choice. If you want a great hotel away from the crowds in the main tourist areas but close enough to walk to them easily, then I thoroughly recommend the Hotel ai Mori d'Oriente.

I came with a little dog to attend the premier. It was very nice that there were dog bed with a blanket and dog bowl placed in the room when we checked in. The front desk staff are very friendly and the bar is very comfortable with an outdoor table. The only thing is not so good is quite far away from St. Macro where I needed to go to attend the premier and met my friends.

My friends and I stayed here for 4 nights. Check in was very efficient All staff were so helpful and friendly.Our rooms were better than expected,we were given adjoining rooms and our request for a ground floor room was honoured. Breakfast was generous with lots of choice We even surprised the kitchen staff with a rendition of happy birthday.We were given recommendations for restaurants, and used the hotels' free boat ride to Murano Island I would recommend this hotel as within walking distance of main attractions, near a water bus stop and in a quiet safe area.

The property was very clean and nicely appointed. The staff spoke English, were friendly, and very accommodating . We attribute our unique Venice experiences to the suggestions made by the hotel front desk staff. This hotel is definitely a hidden gem, which we would have never discovered had it not been listed on Expedia. It's close enough to, while perfectly far enough from the touristy sections of Venice. We had two sleeping rooms - six adults. Both rooms were nice; one had problems with air conditioning but other than that, the property was perfect. Will definitely return!

A must stay!!!!!

You must book this place! We were disappointed pointed when we found out we had to park at a garage quit a ways away and take a water taxi to the hotel but I must say if you ever want to make a statement pulling up to your hotel, you can’t beat doing it by private water taxi and stop t docks at the very front of the hotel!!!! The hotel was an absolute gem and our room opened up to the canal level with the water! We got a really good deal and I would have paid more if I knew what I was getting!

The staff is very friendly. The place looks like a palace. There's no elevator to the back rooms so it can be difficult if you have mobility problems. But I'm sure you can ask for a room in the first floor. The rooms are super clean and renovated, but beware of the mosquitos in June/July, don't open the windows and let them in. Since this is a bit further from the main canal it's also a lot quieter with less tourists and in my opinion better. The walk to San Marcos is about 25min or you can take the vaporetto if you don't want to walk. Also, the hotel is about 5min walking distance to the last stop to the airport, which is very convenient since you don't have to wake up too early to catch up the boat. Overall, a great place to stay in Venice.
