You can tell it’s an older hotel, but the rooms are nice and spacious. The layout is nice as well if you are going to be working out of your room. There are multiple food options nearby, including; a tapas restaurant, Mexican food, Indian food, and even a steakhouse. You will have to go down the way for markets and CVS-type shopping.

There was a mixup regarding our reservation, and there was not a room available for us. The staff at Springhill jumped into action and helped us find a suite at a nearby hotel. The next day, they let us come back to use the indoor pool (amazing) and then went the extra mile to coordinate payment with both the new hotel and with the 3rd party booking service. This was a class act in handling unexpected customer service situations.

When we arrived at 3:14pm (check in was 3pm) no rooms were available. It was another 45 minutes until they had a room ready. The overall cleanliness was good, rooms were as shown in pictures. However at 7:24am we get woken up to the fire alarms sounding, rushed outta bed, down the exit stairs and outside standing in our night clothes in the very cool morning. Only for it to be some sorta false alarm. Released to return to our rooms around 7:40am only to have it start sounding again at 7:42am. Which then went on till 8:11am. Then it sounded again momentarily maybe 3 or 4 minutes later but quickly taken care of that time. We decided we were just gonna get ready and grab some breakfast and then go ahead and prepare to leave to then find since the whole hotel was up, everyone was doing the same and trying to grab breakfast too, which in turn made for a crowded mess. We then made the decision with everything that had occured to pack up and leave. Go to checkout and the receptionist didnt even apologize for all the inconveniences we experienced. Overall with everything combined that occurred with this stay, i would not recommend them.
