I tried to be fair and ignore the poor reviews and give them a chance since the price was good. That was a mistake. The room had been somewhat remodeled, but was still really old and outdated in several areas. The bathroom was dirty; it desperately needed a fresh coat of paint and the tub needed to be scoured. When we woke up in the morning, a puddle of brown water had backed up into the sink. The whole room had a strange smell. The mattress in the pull out bed was covered in rest stains from the metal frame. And, my wife saw a lizard in the bathroom!

The room was clean. The "hot" part of the breakfast was sausage links only. The "hot" water at breakfast was lukewarm. The only other drink at breakfast was coffee (didn't have any so I don't know if it was hot...). The cable TV was "off"- the picture and the sound didn't match exactly which drove me son crazy but after 700 miles of driving I didn't really care, I was just happy not to be driving.
