David at the front desk was so helpful and friendly! View was great. Location to Bar Harbor and Acadia was great without being IN the hustle and bustle. Super convenient to restaurants. Overall a great experience. Room was eh but super adequate, bed was comfy. Served our needs at a very affordable price.

Beds were clean as was bathroom. Floor hadn’t been vacuumed in quite a while. Neither had those in the hallways or communal areas. Half of the rooms in the island view Inn don’t have a Half of the rooms in the island view Inn don’t have an island view and there’s no mention of that on the website. Biggest problem was ran out of hot water the second night and into the second morning. No response from housekeeping or the front desk. Highly disappointed. Would not recommend for that reason. Spend your energy researching other places. There’s plenty of them.

Great check and check out..super friendly staff assisted with whatever we needed. Close to Acadia and the restaurant Currents next door has excellent food and drinks..ate there three nights. Great location and reasonable prices.

Room was comfortable and warm. The bathroom area could have been a bit cleaner. Parking was fine. Only staff was at check-in and he was very pleasant. There was no housekeeping service. We could have used some clean hand towels and certainly another days worth of coffee pods.

The staff at the property were friendly and supportive especially after multiple travel delays that led to late night check in accommodations. The room was clean and stocked with basic goodies. The bed was comfy if you like softer mattress firmness. The amenities were basic, but enough for a few day trip. The AC was a benefit if needed during the Summer times. The room walls are semi-thin unfortunately guests next door choose to blast TV volume late each night, but nothing headphones can't solve. The location is great spot for wanting to be close to Bar Harbor, but not pay arm in a leg for accommodations. It is just off the main stretch heading to and out of the island to Bar Harbor. It like roughly 12-15 minute drive to downtown Bar Harbor. There are many little cafes and restaurants on the way into town. The parking was easy and conveniently close to the rooms. Overall, the property was great for weekend getaway with basic amenities of bed and roof over your head that wouldn't break the bank.
