The property itself was beautiful, and the breakfast provided was good. We were not prepared for a fully outdoor shower with only cold water. We never were able to connect to WiFi. I know we were in nature, but the abundance of bugs inside the bedroom was not pleasant. This is more of a glamping experience.

The pictures were a little misleading. I think they took the "best of" of all the homes and used the most recently remodeled/refreshed for the pictures. They also told us after we booked that the restaurant was by preorder only. Missing a few things in the rooms i.e. shampoo. Also, anywhere that calls themselves a "private villa" should offer coffee in rooms.

Go for the hot tub! Stay for the kitchen.

We stayed in Villa 1 and it was lovely. Communication and service was very efficient. The hot tub is a big bonus! The bedrooms are both upstairs, and you go out onto the hot tub deck in order to access the stairs to get up to the bedrooms. One of the bedrooms (with the large bed) has air-conditioning, and the other bedroom has a medium size bed, plus a single bed but no air conditioning. You can move fans upstairs for the room with no air-conditioning during the hot season and it gets cool at night because you’re in the mountains and in the forest. I especially like that the kitchen is well equipped with a coffee maker, electric kettle, and a blender.

Beware! It’s not as advertised

The house had a beautiful view! What isn’t disclosed in the listing: there is no AC for the whole house and it was VERY uncomfortable. There are only 2 bedrooms on the lower level that have AC. There are no doors on the upper part of the house (only screens) - expect very large bugs and spiders!!! The dishes in the home had to be washed before use and could stand to be replaced - as could the toaster and small appliances. Suggestions to the owners: spray for ants! They were everywhere! Inside, outside! It made the entire property unusable. Finally - let’s talk about the roads! I have a 20 minute video of how horrible the roads are to get to the main house! This part of the trip was the worst part of the drive I experienced on my 2 week road trip of Costa Rica! The roads to get to the property are full of pot holes, standing water/mud. It truly is 4 wheeling at its worst! The roads when you get to the property aren’t much better! Steep driveways (at least they have 2 concrete pads for your tires) but they let the middle grow so large between the 2 concrete pads, the bottom of my SUV was scraping. Note to property: dig out the middle between the concrete and make it a little easier to drive! The pool was dirty! The jacuzzi was warm but the jets didn’t work. We were so disappointed we checked out after one night (and this was the hotel I was most looking forward to)! The staff was nice though.

Positiv: Der Ansprechpartner vor Ort, Diego, sowie das gesamte Team sind sehr freundlich und immer ansprechbar. Kommunikation per WhatsApp und persönlich Note sehr Gut. Das gesamte Anwesen liegt sehr ruhig auf einem „kleinen“ Berg und die Natur rundherum ist wunderbar. Das Comfort-Haus liegt komplett separat und mit Privatsphäre, mit eigener Zufahrt zum Hügel, mit Blick bis hin zum Golfo-Dulce. Die Größe des Hauses ist enorm und hier haben auch 8 Personen genug platz. Der private Pool ist groß, der Whirlpool auf der Terrasse top. Die Badezimmer sind schön, separate Toiletten ein Plus. Grundsätzlich ist das Haus sauber, und die Außenanlagen gepflegt. Vögel und andere Tiere sind auf dem Gelände zu beobachten und laden dazu ein die Zeit vor Ort zu verbringen. Das Frühstück (im zentralen Bereich) war gut und auch der Ausblick von dort ist wunderbar. Ein kleiner Turm im Restaurant ermöglicht einen Rundumblick über das gesamte Gelände. Nicht so toll… Sobald man in der Küche einen Schrank oder Schublade aufgemacht hat, kommt ein feucht-muffiger Geruch raus. Ja, die Region ist feucht, aber das haben wir in anderen Unterkünften nicht erlebt. Die Sauberkeit hört in den Ecken auf. Hier braucht es eine generelle Grundreinigung. Die Spülmaschine war defekt. Zustand der Möbel war sehr unterschiedlich. Die Couch hat einige unschöne Flecken (entfernter Schimmel), gleiches bei den Außenliegen, hier kann die Rückenlehne nicht verstellt werden. Top wäre, Tisch und Stühle für die Terrasse.

Es un lugar para estar 100/100 en contacto con la naturaleza. La habitación muy bonita. Cuenta con refrigeradora. Puedes llevar las bebidas y observar el atardecer 🌅 desde el balcón. El Personal súper atento. Ricardo siempre anuente a la información directa vía telefónica lo que ayuda muchísimo a uno como huésped. y Diego atento a brindar buena atención. Detalle curioso, la ducha abierta pero igual con privacidad en el ambiente natural. Piscina muy limpia y jacuzzi Exelente. Definitivamente volveré. Detalle importante llevar repelente. Al ser un ambiente natural hay insectos, lo normal en dicho ambiente.
