Overall our stay was a good experience. Close to the venue we were visiting and easily accessible. As a housekeeper myself, I would like to see the rooms a little more clean and protectors on the mattresses. I did check thoroughly for bugs and did not find any so that is a plus. The area had lots of activities however the hotel itself was very lack luster. Our room was dirty and had various spots of unknown substances on walls throughout the room. The pool also closes at eight pm and opens at ten am which isn’t stated and is different than typical hours. My children didn’t get to enjoy the pool which was a main reason for staying. Breakfast was good and had a very kind woman helping during that time.

Despite my reservation - I was informed at arrival, 10:45 pm, that they gave away my room before we arrived (2 queen beds) and basically strong armed us into another room (1 king bed) because everywhere else was booked. I booked a stay at La Quinta. I will never stay there ever again. When you walk into the lobby, the initial sent that I smelled was marijuana. I got a smoke free room, but it literally smelled like someone had chains smoked for years. I checked in a little bit after four and checked out at seven.
