It was a very pleasant hotel with good service and in an excellent location (central yet quiet and very walkable though with lots of ascents and descents). One of the nicer aspects is that our room had a spacious and sunny terrace with a great view.

Nice boutique hotel in good condition. Location doesn't allow taxis to drop you off in front of hotel; you need to walk 60-70 yards uphill on very rough cobblestone street from drop off spot. Great location in Alfamba with shops, restaurants and bars in all directions. Great breakfast but hours are 7:30 to 10:00, so often we were not able to use it. Most tours require you to be at a pick-up location before 8AM.

Close to the castle and in the older historic area. Great views from the windows since it is up on the hill. Ask the front desk for the location of hillside outdoor elevators to make it easier to get down the hill for more shopping in the main part of town.

Staff weren't super friendly except for the one who checked me out today. The hotel is gorgeous but does need a lot of updating. It's in a good spot but be aware that Ubers are not allowed to the door. You will have to hike up the hill u less you take a taxi.
