Great for Families — Spacious Resort

Warwick Le Lagon is a large, well-maintained property that’s ideal for families and elderly guests. If mobility is a concern, I’d definitely recommend booking a villa closer to the main restaurant and amenities to avoid long walks. Although they do have buggies. The buffet dinners were excellent value — around $50 AUD — and kids eat free, which is a huge bonus for families. Breakfast was decent but exactly the same every day, so it can get a bit repetitive if you’re staying more than a few days. Lunches were average for kids free option and didn’t vary much. There’s plenty to do, including water sports — and free sailing is a standout. The setting is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views over the lagoon. Skip the turtle sanctuary, though — it felt more like a holding pen. If you’re up for it, head to Top Rock for snorkeling instead — it’s stunning, though not suitable if you have mobility limitations. Overall, a great resort for young families who’ll get the most value from the kid-friendly deals, activities, and the stunning location. I’d recommend no more than five days due to limited food options.
Daniela, 7-night trip

8/10 Very good

We enjoyed our recent stay. Staff were welcoming and polite. Pools and grounds were immaculate and well maintained. Buffet breakfast was the highlight for the main meals, dinner buffet was underwhelming. Overall a great place to stay and would return in the future. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

Fantastic resort! Staff were excellent, a special thank you to Jeannette and Stanley for making our stay awesome! The Resort is very well maintained and beautifully located! Room was very comfortable and clean. Lots of dining options was great for a family with kids. Kids loved the Kids club and staff there, with lots of activities to keep them busy all day.Thank you all at the Warwick…

Would have been 5 stars but the WiFi wasn’t working in and around my room/bungalow.
Dennis, 4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Amazing resort! Perfect for family holidays with kids school age, a lot free water sports very safe such snorkeling, kayak, paddle boarding and small sailing/catamaran. Tennis court, pool table, tennis table, kids club with cooking classes, movie night and a lot activities! Breakfast and dinner buffet with really good options. Pools are wonderful! Food, alcohol and beverages are very expensive in the hotel but kids under 12 eat for free.
Viviana Ochoa, 7-night trip

8/10 Very good

Room was excellent with great location on the lagoon. Food was good but not great. Disappointing that we were there for 4 days and they could not get tonic water in their bar over this time even though all other venues had it. Spa was great and the swim up bar is a winner.

8/10 Very good

Overall Warwick Le Lagon, is a lovely property. The buffet breakfast, is good start to the day. They had lots of western food to choose from, for anyone that likes bacon and eggs. The pools and access to non motorised water sports are great for when you want a chilled day at the hotel. Disappointing that WIFI was roughly $120 Australian for 7 days, however quite a few café and places we went offered free WIFI. Sim cards were cheaper option, which made it easier for the group to communicate. The local bus and taxi are easy to use.
Jay, 7-night trip

6/10 Good

The lack of free wifi in this modern time was disappointing. Check in process was poor as we were not shown to our rooms and had to figure it out in the dark as our flight arrived late at night.
Nazim, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

We love the Warwick Le Lagon. So good to see the hotel looking so good after two cyclones. Management were very interested in talking with guests to continue to improve the experience. We had a minor setback with our bed configuration upon check in but this was quickly resolved. We brought our own beach towels but this seemed to be a big problem mostly because guests would take the towels out for the day on tours and hold onto them, get more for a swim on return to the resort rather than return any of them so they could be washed and given out to other guests. We will continue to stay at the Warwick exclusively when traveling to Vanuatu.
Louise, 7-night trip

4/10 Fair

Big lesson learnt from this holiday. Never presume a 5 Star hotel chain is standard throughout the world. The property is in great need of some TLC after Covid & twin cyclones in 2023. Additionally, its obvious there is no senior management onsite & service & facilities are dropping standards. With the economy of Vanuatu still trying to recover from Covid,, lets hope there are improvements very soon for this hotel chain, otherwise I dont see a positive future.
Gabrielle, 8-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

We had a wonderful stay at Warwick Le Lagon. We booked 2 rooms for our family of 5 and we had plenty of space. The grounds of the Warwick are very well maintained and you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. We chose the Warwick because they were able to cater for our 2 daughters that are coeliac. In addition, Warwick has a kids "stay, play and eat free" policy so this was an added bonus as the kids were well taken care of. The kids enjoyed the buffet or specially prepared meals and we enjoyed the choice of restaurants especially the Ginger Leaf Teppanyaki. It was the added extras that made the Warwick very special. The staff at the Water Sports were very helpful and encouraging and we tried activities we had never done before. We thoroughly enjoyed kayaking, the catamarans and snorkelling! There is nightly entertainment and a stand out was the amazing Fire show.
R, 7-night trip

8/10 Very good

This property blends in beautifully with the environment and has lovely views over to Erakor Island. The rooms could probably do with some upgrades but they are comfortable with everything you need. This is not a 5* luxury modern hotel, and some people have given it amazingly bad reviews, but we really enjoyed it, and there were plenty of families there enjoying it. We did not think the range of food was great for us - a buffet dinner, but we don't eat that much, and the food in the main restaurant was lovely but very large portions, and a bigger variety of smaller meals would be good. There are only taxis from the resort to town and these can be very hard to get especially on cruise ship days. There are beach activities every day, and small catamarans and kayaks to sail, and a trip to Erakor Island is very easy as the little boat goes from a jetty at the end of the resort. I think this is a really good resort for families.
