Ideally located for Cambridge bus stop across way. Room quite small but clean and warm. Ideally located to pub which does good food, plus couple of others in walking distance in village. Accommodation is separate to the pub and no noise heard.

Highly recomended these converted stables with a modern revamp. Room and bathroom were lovely and clean aside from an odd cobweb. Parking was perfect directly outside our accommodation. Rooms are oppopsite the bar and restaurant. The inn has lots of character and history. Only saw one member of staff the whole time who was quiet but helpful. Not having a reception area meant sometimes he was hard to find. Daily housekeepibg with drink sachets refilled. Our room also had a fridge in the wardrobe. We had a radiator so easy to keep warm if needed. Theres a play area on site and outdoor seating will be nice in the summer. Perfect loalcation to expore cambridge. Much quieter than the city with 3 other pubs near by as well as a country park, close to park and ride - 15 min walk and £3 bus or £13 for a taxi to central Cambrige.
Row of approx 4 rooms like small chalets. Converted stables. Modern decoration.

Quiet, clean, friendly & comfortable

Friendly village pub with rooms which were converted outbuildings across a small car park. Plenty of outside seating. Good choice of draught beers etc. Menu looked good but we had eaten earlier so didn't visit restaurant area. Staff very friendly & couldn't do more. Sunday eve sun made outside area popular & pub welcomed dogs inside

Excellent accommodation, restaurant and bar area.

Excellent stay. There are 4 x ex stables which have been converted into individual chalet type accommodation. Comfortable. Medium sized fridge in room. No noise from adjoining accommodation. Free parking. Had an excellent meal in the restaurant. Bar area separate from restaurant. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

A nice pub and the service was friendly enough. The room was also nice, warm and bed very comfortable. Unfortunately I wasnt able to use the free wifi as there was no wifi password to be found anywhere in my room, and by the time I arrived and settled down, the pub and all staff had closed/gone home.

Check in was easy and the room was well appointed - parking near the rooms was convenient - bedding was good quality as was the shower - good that there was a fan and a fridge in the hot weather. The only thing that was a bit of an issue was there was a lot of insects in the room - like small moths - we didn’t report it as we had a short stay but ensured our clothing was packed away out of harms way.

Excellent evening meal. Friendly and helpful staff. Very close to bus stop to get into Cambridge. Nice touches like tissues in the room, water in the fridge Main pub building had plenty of comfortable seating and outdoors tables etc. Climbing frame looked good. Room a bit cramped for three adults, but exactly as shown in the photograph. King bed very comfortable. Would happily stay there again

Pleasantly surprised

I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are converted stables, which are very quaint. The room had everything you needed including a mini fridge. The pillows were amazing, had a good nights sleep. The only negative is that the heating was not on when I arrived, so the room was very cold. Ate in the restaurant and by the time I returned it was warm

Charming pub/inn & great food close to Cambridge

Great restaurant and good location in a quiet neighborhood near Cambridge. The staff was very accommodating and even kept the kitchen open late to provide us dinner upon our late arrival. Rooms are small but well appointed & good value for the price. The bed size was advertised as king but it was a double which is small for us. The windows do not open in the room (perhaps for safety as the rooms are all ground floor) so the room was a bit stuffy and warm for our comfort. A fan was provided, which helped.

Pub rooms close to Cambridge

The greeting on arrival was rather miserable. Certainly not warm. The room was quite small and a bit stuffy , with no window view. It was clean and the bed firm and comfortable, but was quite basic and a little tired. It also had clothes moths, so when we got home we emptied our bags outside and shook every item vigorously (we had a couple in the bags). The pub was quite nice, staff and food were excellent. The set Indian meal was superb, as was the sea bass. I'd say that value for money was average given the comments above and the lack of a breakfast.
