Shampoo bottle was empty. Called to have it refilled or replaced in morning and by 2:00pm it still wasn’t replaced. Light bulb was out on lamp, replaced right away. A/C made noise the whole time.

2 minute walk to the Big Texan Steakhouse, a must in Amarillo! Recently renovated, clean, nice staff, and a typical breakfast variety. Their nightly rates were lower than the neighboring hotels. We will stay there again during our cross country driving trips!

The staff is nice and courtueous, but I dont think hotels are aware that if they do keep dogs no matter what floor that barking should be maintained at all hours. These people have to take their dogs out at all hours of the night so it does tend to be disruptive to guests. and if you are on the first floor, they are using that side entrance where the door slams shut so that woke me up. I did mention it to the staff about the dog barking at 4:30 am. but she said no dogs are on first floor. That has nothing to do with someone who needs to take their dog out on annnnyyyy floor. I left early this morning and a dog a barking on the first floor, the guest is not even trying to shut the dog up and continues until they go outside. I didn't sleep well so I cannot stay at this hotel. thanks

I really liked the room setup. Rooms are good size with lots of space. Ours had a full kitchen with dishwasher and good size fridge/freezer. Also a desk that pulls out and lots of other storage and work space. There were multiple things damaged like a shelf was cracked and floor molding looked popped out with a nail exposed in one corner but overall great stay.
