The staff was great. They upgraded our room for free because they had some vacancies. Clean and spacious rooms. Fantastic place to stay. Will stay there again.

Great Inn in a beautiful Little town.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Room clean, comfortable and books/magazines to read a bonus. Enjoyed the Sacajawea Centre very much.

Great staff and the room was fine. My only complaint is that the heater makes a horrible noise (unit #14). Otherwise, all was great.

Wonderful motel!

Great motel! Our room was huge, super clean and modern. It was in a quiet area. You can easily drive to Main street where there are nice places to have dinner. Just don't miss eating breakfast at the Savage Grill right beside the motel. It was delicious!

We were late checking in and we were met as we pulled in and was welcomed with open arms and explained to what rooms we had and were ready for us. Great service.

The inside of the room was clean and the bed was comfortable and the staff was great, easy checkin. The outside area and property are a bit rundown and not so attractive.

Looking for a cheap place with a hot shower for the night. Over all the hotel has been remodeled and is much improved, but the shower was poorly installed and leaks between panes. Using the unbleached dirty white towels to mop up the mess. The rooms set up with a krupp style coffee pot, but no coffee pucks. Went to the desk to ask for more. They don' open until 9AM and the message on the window says they do not keep out of office hours. The heater came on excessively throughout the night- the fan rattled and the temp gauge is off, running over the programed value making it too hot then too cold. Dog friendly was a bonus. The bed was comfy. Lots of TV channels and could watch the playoff games without logging into our personal accounts. Parking outside your room is also much appreciated. For the value, we would retur, BUT I will bring my own towels and coffee.

We flew into Salmon for a guided river/white water rafting trip. The hotel management voluntarily sent a truck to pick us and our gear up. Took us to another hotel for our orientation briefing. Came back and brought us to our rooms. Our stay was short but memorable. Room was clean and comfortable.

The on-site manager needs a raise. I would say she is solely responsible for getting the absolute best out of what she has to work with. She is very welcoming and will do whatever is necessary to improve your stay. It is apparent the property is making improvements and updates, but it is still rather old. Despite that, the two rooms that I rented were absolutely spotless and the beds were very comfortable.

Looking at the previous reviews and website information about Salmon, Id., this property got our attention, so we booked 3 nights. Property and management was not what the previous reviews had mentioned. Upon arrival, I was very much looking forward to meeting Rachel but never did during our stay. Although, Rachel was not around, the staff were friendly. We were also anticipating for an outdoorsy environment, like trees, trails, creeks, and fire pit, as stated and/on property's website, but never happened. Didn't feel safe and the fire pit didn't look usable. Our king size bed unit was small. The website describes plenty of room and the pictures sure looked like a bigger room. Bathroom was even smaller and the floor in front of the shower was rotted. Fan was not working. Lots of bugs including big spiders, flies, and more. Tried getting rid but was impossible.

Lighting was bad, especially in the bathroom (way too bright!). Bathroom door scrapes on the floor. Coffee service did not include creamer, sweetener, or even a stirrer. No blinds on bathroom window. That said, the beds were comfortable. The rest of the issues wouldn have bothered us more if we hadn't been so tired from our river trip.

Motel is right on a main road, but not road noisy. Easy check in; the room was clean; the linens and bed comfortable. We were there two nights but stocked with 2 only coffee pods - using a nice "nespresso" machine. Small motel fridge and microwave included. Very convenient. Shower was good and the bathroom clean. The TV was able to be cast to so we could watch what we wanted at night. (NOTE: future guests, be sure to sign out of the TV before leaving) There's a popular place next door for order and grab meals, to eat there or to go. We went elsewhere to have a beer with our dinner. As it was the 4th's weekend the motel host/manager had a family and friends get together complete with fireworks in the courtyard outside the room. (There is a grill; you'll have to request it.) Host was friendly and gave recommendations! Salmon has a few choices and price ranges so this motel fit the bill for a casual weekend. (Pay no mind to the reviews suggesting you can buy breakfast or any meal - them's the old days!) Door security deadbolt didn't latch so check your door upon check in. Would stay again if the occasion occurs.
