Great location in Modena and a nice neighborhood. It's self check in but the staff was very responsive through WhatsApp. It rained one day so we greatly appreciate the umbrellas for borrow. We visited in the Fall and it was a bit chilly out. I don't know if it's a Modena thing or just the building - the AC doesn't turn on when the outside temperature is low. Yes we can open the windows but the mosquitoes came in. Also it would be nice to have lotion and one trash can in the bedroom area. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

A welcoming haven

We arrived, after 24 hours of travel, to a clean, air conditioned haven. They allowed us to check-in a bit early as we arrived sooner than expected. Self check-in was clear and easy. The room looked brand new and had a very cool refrigerator on the wall, plus a beautiful rain shower, a king sized bed, WiFi etc. We were very comfortable and happy with the location. We walked everywhere we wanted to go.

This is a beautiful property just steps from the historic center of Modena, two blocks from the gallery Estense Museum and an easy walk from the train station. Beautiful historic property renovated with great taste. Beautiful luxurious bathroom, easy check-in, free parking if you have a car, and the most helpful host. I enjoyed great sleep at this quiet and convenient home away from home

Quality of the rooms was excellent. Parking can be a challenge if you have any vehicle larger than a compact . Service by the attendant was exceptional. The lady absolutely made our visit memorable by reserving a tour of Aceto Giusit and 4Madonne when we were unable to do it . Thank you 🙏.

Our New A-List Hotel!

We have stayed in Modena three previous times and this is by far the best accommodations! It’s location is amazing, a quick walk through a passage to the town, restaurants, and shopping. The room is new, well appointed, and the owner is extremely receptive to requests. The hotel has only been open since the summer but I’m sure that many more positive reviews will be made. Coffee and tea available, no breakfast but the best coffee and pastry is a three minute walk up the street! We will only return here in the future... thank you Alessandra!

Lovely on face value but….

We stayed 2 nights. The room was lovely and the location was great. We encountered a few small problems. The hot water was hot for 30 seconds, then went lukewarm. The mini fridge in the room makes all sorts of weird noises - all night. Our biggest problem was actually other inconsiderate guests. Because it’s a self check-in hotel, we had guests checking in after midnight both nights. Banging their cases up and down the stairs loudly and talking loudly. It disrupted our sleep terribly.
