The location of the property is excellent, situated on a main road and close to restaurants and shops. There isn’t an elevator but the staff was quick to help us carry our bags up to the second floor. They provided a voucher toward a nice breakfast at the adjoining restaurant. We had a great experience in Jasper. We would stay at the Astoria again!

Hotel is right on the Main Street and walking distance to all kinds of shopping and restaurants. It does not have an elevator and shower was a tad small but it worked for us. It’s a quaint hotel and we would stay there again. Parking is across the street from hotel.

Rooms are dated but clean. Jasper has limited options, so hotels that can offer a room do so with a premium rate. In any other location, the rates would be less than half of what they can charge here. The Astoria is in a prime location and gives easy access to many dining places and tourist spots. We did need to get glasses from the front desk and the Ice machine on our floor did not work.

I learned this family-owned hotel turned 100 years old this year. Cute, well maintained, comfortable, in a great location and offers courteous service to make you feel at home. It was a wonderful stay.
