Room was clean, but edge of sink needed a little attention. The rubber trim was lifting in the corners, they took care of it right away. It is a cute hotel, but the rooms are on the small side. We booked the large room and that was a bit of a stretch for us both, but we don't spend much time in our room, we are out and about. It is a cozy hotel, close to pubs, easy to walk to sites, Paddington station is across the street. We choose this place for location and convenience.

Cute small hotel with close proximity to Paddington Station. A bit quirky with crazy access to rooms - even using the elevator there are several stairs and fire doors to contend with. The small rooms are really small so not great if you have a lot of luggage. However I really lovely this hotel and there is a nice coffee bar in the entrance hall.

Hotel was soo cute and aesthetically pleasing! Amazing location by the train and cute restaurants around. The rooms were small but to be expected and there wasn’t AC so was a little hot at night yet they provide a standing fan. The restaurant in the hotel was very good for breakfast and we had great cocktails there before a night out.

Average stay

Hotel was ok, weird system for check in just with people on a laptop in the front of the hotel. Which was abit difficult when people were checking in and out. Staff were nice and breakfast food was good. Just a shame the room as incredibly hot, the room was at the back of the hotel so was in direct site of the apartments behind. There is a smoking area for the pub below at the back. Then also there was building work that stared at 7am on Saturday and Sunday. Stay was ok but abit gutted about the noise levels and how warm the rooms were after spending quite a lot of money for a 2 night stay.

If you just need a night to stay for the location (Paddington station), then this place will do. Otherwise, it's noisy (inside and outside), small rooms and always hot in there. I'd hate to go there when it was hot outside! Yes, they give you a fan in the room, but it's loud and only moves the hot air around. Bathrooms as also very tight. I won't stay there again.

Great location to Paddington, nice staff, and "compact" bunk room (which was expected). What I didn't expect was how noisy it would be there. I know they can't control other patrons, but people were loud and slamming doors constantly. Nice they have coffee/tea stations, however one was right outside my room which also was a cause of more noise. Would have preferred not being near that.

Excellent location, right across from Paddington station, with good restaurants around and convenience stores. Staff is cordial and helpful. Bed is very comfortable and bathroom was a decent size and had the basic amenities. A couple of things of note: the hotel is not accessible for people with low mobility. There’s a lift but steps are unavoidable. I had a large checked bag and had difficulty carrying it around. Another important point, while it is not unusual for older buildings not to have aircon in the UK, the room got really warm at night, even with the central heating off. On the first floor, wing M, opening the window was an option but the street was extremely loud. I think it’s the back alley of a restaurant or something so midnight, one am, you’d hear very loud noises of things being dragged around and deliveries etc. Because of that I didn’t get as much rest I would’ve liked, despite the bed being comfortable. Check in and check out were seamless through their website.
