The staff was nice and the room was nice as well (updated and clean - my critical standards for a room). It was a good stay for the price. A couple of things to call out from an expectations standpoint: 1) the rooms aren't particularly quiet, and being on the interstate, people were coming and going at all hours. I don't know how many bags the people above me had at midnight, but there were quite a few, and I heard them put every one of them down - along with every door that opened on my floor 2) I would not bother with the breakfast. The scrambled eggs were pulverized (maybe from powdered eggs??), just little bits of egg. The sausage did not look browned. The waffles are frozen, and you put them in the toaster. It was not good, but again, for the price I paid, I could afford to go to McDonald's across the street.

The Hotel Grand River is a property with a lot of potential, unfortunately it falls short. The front desk staff was amazing! Very helpful and personable. The building itself is nice, in a nice location, unfortunately for the duration of my stay, the hallway on the ground floor reeked of urine. My room was a great value for the price, all of the available rooms on the app were listed at the same price, I selected the nicest looking one available, which was a suite with sofa bed. That wasn’t the room I was put in, which was a Jacuzzi suite, which was even better as I was traveling alone for work. My room was very clean, but the only coffee that was provided was decaffeinated (not an issue for most folks, but a personal pet peeve.) The view from the hotel is fantastic. The breakfast offerings were extremely mediocre. I enjoyed my stay, and felt like I received a great value for what I paid, but I also recognize that a few small adjustments (cleaning and deodorizing the carpets that have urine smell, investing to improve the amenities) would go a very long way to improve the guest experience.

When I visit Colorado friends, I always stay here. Its been a consistent hotel. The rooms are starting to needs updates such as cosmetic and new beds, but overall decent. The price cant be beat, so I cant complain. Had to check out early due to the snow storm yet again. Right off the highway and near a gas station, car wash, and other shops.

It was a really nice. They are pet friendly with a $40 deposit and a $15 parking fee. Very clean and helpful employees. The bed was heaven. I would stay again, if I am in that area
