Great location — quiet, safe and an easy walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. Excellent value for accommodation and food. The pool area was fantastic and we appreciated the complimentary water. Wish we’d known about the swim-out rooms beforehand — they look incredible (next time) The resort is very large, so there’s a fair bit of walking if your room is at the back. The room was large & clean. The bed and pillows weren’t comfortable initially but were fixed quickly. Breakfast was disappointing to me, but the others thought it fine. While staff were friendly overall, they weren’t as warm as other places we stayed. We all agreed Kata is the best area to stay in & we do recommend this resort.

as far as accommodations in Kata Beach, it is a great value. it's only a short walk to the beach and it has plenty of parking which parking is hard to find in Kata. 15 minute taxi ride to Patong Beach. very family friendly and not crowded like Patong Beach. definitely better for families.

We loved our stay at Kata palm resort. Three awesome pools. Breakfast had many options. We were able to walk to most shops we needed. The staff were lovely. We had originally booked into the royal blue wing, however it is quite a walk to the restaurants and the street, so we moved closer in, the staff facilitated the move with grace.
