1894 house was a delight. We were not on the main property but the 1894 house a short walking distance or drive. It was a very homey feeling staying there for a birthday celebration. Walkable to the historic area or trolley stop. Staff at the inn were very friendly.

Charming Inn
The Inn was charming. It had a beautiful courtyard that was welcoming. Located within walking distance to the historical sites. They offered breakfast and a social / happy hour as well as desserts as part of their amenities. They also offered parking. I would definitely stay again.

Great property. Enjoyed the breakfast and cocktail hour. Also enjoyed the bikes. Not too far of a ride to the lighthouse and beach. Easy walk into the heart of things. Lots of thoughtful touches in the cottage and available in the main space. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely fabulous stay! They have so many additional complimentary things than their delicious breakfasts every morning. In the evening they have a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres and beer or wine. Then later a dessert hour with some of the best cupcakes, coffee and tea. There’s also bikes that you can request and use for the day. Just a wonderful experience all around!

Friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of refreshments and tourist information in the common area, both day and night. In a great location (close to museums & restaurants). Strong wi-fi in our room, and good TV streaming although the TV could have been larger. Water pressure in the shower was good. My only criticism is the shower was in a jacuzzi tub and a bit tricky to step in and out of. Also the floor of the shower was a little slippery so not ideal for older guests. Otherwise, a great stay!

Great stay in St Augustine’s oldest and historic B&B/hotel. Yes, it’s old, but it is kept up well. The staff is amazing—helpful and friendly. Close to everything. A different breakfast each day. Unique, charming, friendly. The atmosphere is conductive to guests talking and sharing experiences which was fun. One couple told us they been coming almost every year for well over a decade. We would go back too.

I loved its charming character. The pool needed some minor cleaning, but it was nice and warm. I was staying alone, and after 10pm the concierge closes, and it’s a very dark area with low illumination. I felt incredibly vulnerable, but I did not have any bad or harmful experiences. They offer so much when they are open, and the room was very clean for me.

Kristen and dining staff were outstanding. Breakfast, social hour and desert were fabulous!
Miss Emily’s room was cozy, clean and the jacuzzi tub was relaxing.
The onsite parking was great for leaving your car for the stay and walking to dinner or events. It was nice to know we’d have a parking spot if we did drive somewhere.

Great place for a romantic stay!
Fabulous B&B within short walking distance to the hustle and bustle of the Historic District. We stayed in Saffron's Suite, and pictures online do not do it justice! The entire property is quaint and peaceful, clean and well appointed. The staff is amazing, and they actively look for ways to make your stay the best experience. It is an historic house, so it is older, but the hot water was immediate and powerful, the AC was perfect and all of the room amenities were in excellent, clean order. I highly recommend staying here!

Staying in a historical building with all the upgrades & amenities superior. Lovely decor with many places to relax both inside and outside: pool area, gazebo, courtyard, parlor, dining room, porches with attentive & friendly staff who were willing to help with questions & reservations. My husband required a special diet which was accommodated without a fuss.

Excellent, friendly, quiet area with historical sights, dining options, art galleries and shops within a block of the property. The busier area of St. George Street was a 5-10 minute easy walk. One of the trolley stops was just a block away. The inn had complimentary tickets to the lighthouse and Lincolnville Museum, both worth a visit. We enjoyed our included daily breakfast, social hour, and deserts. We stayed in the Ambrose Retreat which was a 5 minute walk to the main area of the St Francis Inn and we loved it. Highly recommend!

My wife and I spent 3 nights in July 2024. On property parking is a definite perk. The my wife and I fell in love with St. Francis as soon as we arrived. Beautiful courtyard and quaint inn. The breakfast was good and coffee was also great and always available. Everyone was so nice and helpful with directions and ideas of what to do for our first visit to St. Augustine. A heads up… it’s really hot in the summer obviously but the gnats love to harass you just about anywhere you go in St. Augustine. The Old Town Trolley has a stop nearby and you get can tickets from the inn. So it made it that much easier to get around. We had Lilly’s room because that’s what was available at the time. It’s not too big but for a couple that’s not planning on spending too much time in the room it was perfect. Whenever we decide to visit St. Augustine we’ll definitely be staying here again.
