I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, it was a total letdown. When we checked in, there were tons of sugar ants everywhere—on the nightstand, the bathroom counter, even near the bed. To make matters worse, there was a blood stain on the comforter. It wasn’t huge, but still—completely unacceptable for any hotel that charges what this one does. The vibe could’ve been charming, but instead it just felt dirty and neglected. For the price, I expected something boutique and well-kept, not something that made me want to sleep on top of my clothes. Save your money and stay somewhere that actually cares about cleanliness and guest experience.

I paid extra for a suite. It didn’t even have a tv in the room with a bed. It’s kinda old and not well kept. I won’t stay there again.

Run, Don’t walk…Away from this place.

Upon arrival, the room we were provided was nothing like what was advertised. It was about a third of the size, no microwave no fridge hardly any light. The bathroom was also not as advertised. When this was brought up to the front desk, we received nothing but excuses. We were told there was a disclaimer on the website., However, we did not see one. When we asked for a refund, we were offered a voucher I informed that we would not be returning. I was instructed by the receptionist to contact the third-party that we purchased the reservation through. after spending an hour and a half on the phone with the third-party we were told that we needed to request the refund through the hotel first. Thought it might be useful to know that while we are awaiting on the phone, another patron had went up to the front desk and asked for a refund due to the condition of their room, and he was given the same excuses as we had received. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

The historical hidden gem tip of Orlando!

We really enjoyed our stay at a historical hotel. The atmosphere was very peaceful and the location very convenient. The staff at the Wellborn restaurant/pub were exceptionally personable. We were served by both Zaron, who was very informative regarding specific restaurants. Greg and Zaron made us feel very welcome. Loved the vibe of the place indoor and out.

A Downtown Dream Getaway

Everything was amazing. Check In was super easy. The on site staff were super helpful and approachable. Parking right in the driveway like you are at home. Walking distance to downtown and all the fun surrounding neighborhoods. Even a fun porch off our room.

Nice but when you look close, a bit dirty

The room vas very spacious which is why I wondered why small refrigerator was just sitting on the floor and not on a cabinet. Refrigerator door bottom drug on floor making it hard to open, then had to bend over to get anything out. Thi morning when I took a shower the shower walls had dozen of hair strands all over it.

Confusing

Check in was supposed to be via link; I never received the check in email. I had to call customer support to receive the link for check in and for my room number. There was no front desk that I could see and had to search for where the room was. About 10 minutes after arriving, we finally found the room. Check out was for 11am, but by 9:30am someone was knocking on our door to make sure we were going to checkout.

Shh, keep this gem to yourself!

I am a repeat guest here and I keep coming back. It has gotten better each year. There is such charm in the rooms and on the property. Parking isn’t always the easiest, but it’s free!! And in downtown it’s worth it. It is about a 5-10 minute walk to the Dr. Phillip’s Center. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and I always feel safe. FYI, the restaurant on property is “awake” until 1:00AM on weekends. They provide ear plugs and amazing room darkening curtains. I’ve never needed the ear plugs as I just plan to always be awake at least until then enjoying all that Orlando has to offer. I can’t wait until my next stay!

Ficamos em um espaço com cama e sofá-cama, ideal para nós (um casal e um amigo). O ambiente é amplo, confortável e muito bem limpo. A cozinha é bem estruturada, o banheiro moderno e a cama bastante grande e aconchegante. Um ponto a considerar é que o banheiro era todo de vidro fosco, o que deixava os vultos visíveis; para garantir mais privacidade, sempre íamos para a sala quando alguém estava usando. Apesar de alguns comentários sobre barulho, não tivemos esse problema — talvez pelo cansaço, dormimos muito bem. A localização também é ótima, com residências ao redor e alguns lagos próximos para visitar. No geral, uma estadia muito agradável e confortável.

We gad expectations and the pictures are great, but this stay far exceeded all of that. We enjoyed the amenities thoroughly. The plant life and eatery next door was both a vibe and convenient. Will definitely be back.

The picture of the room was done very flatteringly. The property was confusing, the lack of a standard front desk was confusing, the exterior of the building was mildly confusing, it was an old building that looked less than appealing. The location was convenient, the room inside was clean, the shower had no curtain or door, and the floor got wet with every shower. We went to the shared outside courtyard to see if it was worth checking out, saw a large rat like animal crawling in the foliage, and directly turned around and went back to our room. They were kind enough to check us in early, so I give them props for that, but I’m not sure we’d have found a front desk person if they hadn’t been cleaning one of the property’s when we walked up. The parking was less than ideal, the lot and the roadside filled up every night with club traffic making it difficult for Lyft drivers to even drop us off. While it served our needs, it was not a place I’d recommend in the future. I’m sorry for the honest review, but people should be aware before they stay.
