Had a wonderful break at Wine & Books. Everything was exactly as I’d hoped it would be from looking at the website. Staff were lovely - kind and attentive but not too in your face. Room was really comfortable. I’m a very light sleeper so the blackout curtains and super-quiet room were brilliant. Oh, and big shout out for the spa. Had a great massage from a lady who couldn’t speak any English (and my Portuguese is non-existent) but she didn’t need to. Perfect service. Thank you.

But if you’re okay with a quick ride into the city center, the tranquility and high level of service more than make up for it. Overall, this hotel offered one of the best stays I’ve had in Lisbon.
