The Captain Wohlt Inn has a very intimate feel. The staff as well as the owner are very personable and helpful. The court yard is so lovely and the live music was amazing.

We loved our stay at this inn. It was clean, comfortable and very quiet. We loved that breakfast was delivered to our room. The check in process was easy and we were given lots of info about things to do and places to see in town. We had friends staying in the room next to us and we all enjoyed hanging out in the living room together. It was cozy and comfortable. I would stay here everytime Im in Hermann.

Love the historic outside of the buildings and the modern inside! Brandt is knowledgeable about the area and helpful in suggestions for places to eat & things to do. We were unaware that breakfast is a weekend only thing. The properties are spread out but within walking distance.

A great place to stay! Very clean and comfortable room with nice fixtures, bathroom very nice, lovely color scheme, love… loved the mattress and pillows. Slept great! Breakfast delivered to your door at 8:30 sharp! Super cozy and enjoyable stay. Absolutely loved the beautiful raised courtyard at the main house…manicured landscaping, all lit up with fire pits burning, live acoustic entertainment for their guests to enjoy. Owner personally prepared s’mores boxes that had all the fixings ready for toasting. Highly recommend a stay here!

WOW

This was the first bed and breakfast my wife and I stayed at and it could not have been better. Breakfast was served every morning st the door and was beyond anything we could have asked for. The room was spacious enough for my wife and I with all of the amenities we could ever want. The owner met with us on day one to let us know about all of the local hot spots and even provided everything to make s’more just outside of the building we were staying at. Our stay was amazing and we will highly recommend this place to anyone who wants an amazing place to stay with an amazing staff.

This was our first time coming to Hermann and as soon as we got there the owner came up and took us through a map of things in the area. He was very personable and asked what we did and liked to do and put in some suggestions for us as well and what others have thought was great/fun. You could tell right from the gate he wanted to make sure our stay was fun and relaxing and really was an amazing host. The room was very nice and cozy even with the heat that weekend. We loved it and plan on going back to soon to stay again. Usually don’t have a ton to rave about in reviews but this was one place that really deserved the great rating.

Very clean and updated. It worked well for our 1 night visit. The mini split kept the room nice and cool! Check in Cookies were fresh and yummy. They had s’mores on the patio in the evening and have suggestions for winery tours. I did not check the fine print, breakfast was NOT included with our standard room. It was an option for $15 per person. This was a 2024 update.

I booked it initially because Hotels.com said it was pet-friendly, but I discovered after making the non-refundable reservation that I did not book the type of room that allowed for pets. The owner, Brant, was wonderful. The accommodations were good. The room was clean. Bed was a bit on the firm side. The standard king room is not designed for relaxation. The highlight was the live music on Friday & Saturday night in the courtyard. Make sure you check with the property to see if breakfast is included with your room type. They deliver bottles of water daily with a fresh baked cookie. Overall, I would recommend this property.

We were met by the owner immediately- even texted us asking about our ETA to be ready for us. Was ver knowledgeable of the area, and put customer comfort first. Really commend this business on everything they are trying to do. This business has topped anything I have seen before in just terms of effort and dedication to improve.

Room was very nice up to date very clean all so, no carpeting when i stay in hotels they Have carpeting always feels dirty . here they have flooring and the bathroom is very nice has everything you need . It really feels like im in my bedroom. 🙂 will come back. Variety of coffee and creamer. Up to date coffee maker 🙂

Loved my stay here…Brant was very helpful with information on the area since it was our first visit. Very clean room and comfortable bed and pillows! Close walk to all of downtown shopping and restaurants. Piano bar is right across the street, but loved the live music in the garden area…the rabbit even enjoyed the music…lol…found out he feeds the rabbit graham crackers so they stick around. Beautiful property and town! Will definitely be back
