Probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve been around. Exquisite service and every single detail in the renovated historical buildings are made to perfection. Everyone was extremely friendly and keen about providing us a perfect stay. I will have to emphasize the manager Bruno as well as the owner Chris as people with an almost scary sense of providing an experience beyond expectation. There’s no doubt that we will be back to Panama City and there’s no doubt that La Compañía is and always will be our hotel.

The hotel was BEAUTIFUL and in such a great area (Casco Vieja). I love the fact that you could totally hang out at the hotel at the bar, spa, or at one of the many restaurants. The only suggestion that I would make is for the rooms with terraces, to chairs to the terrace. We loved going out on the terrace, but there was no seating. However, even with this suggestion, it would only bring my rating down to a 9.5.

Do not book another stay-this is the BEST. We want to come back to Panama just to stay at this hotel-I don’t even want to call it a hotel because it’s basically a resort in the Old Town. It is a living museum and that is amazing-you won’t believe it until you see it. The staff-amazing. The restaurants-OMG. The rooftop pool area-we stayed up there every afternoon when it gets pretty warm and the service was great. Poolside bar and food available all day. I have recently stayed at a Four Seasons and both my husband and I said this was absolutely nicer in every area. Make sure you eat on the restaurants-they are SO good. I will definitely be back!

The entire property is unique. There is a French wing, an American wing, and a Spanish wing. All are beautiful. The rooftop pool area is delightful. The staff is friendly and helpful. We only had one issue - we had filled out the forms for a box breakfast that should have been ready on our last morning prior to leaving for the airport. There must have been a mix-up as there wasn't any box breakfast for the 4 of us.

What a beautiful property! One thing I wish I knew before booking, if you get booked in the American wing of the hotel, be advised that there is a church right next to the rooms, and the church bell goes off EVERY 15 minutes! I had to leave the hotel a couple days early since I couldn’t stand it anymore, so make sure to call ahead and ask to stay out of the American wing. Other than that, this is property definitely has a wow factor. One last thing if you happen to go party and meet a nice person and think you’re going to bring them back to your room, think again! Not going to happen here! The only people allowed in your room are the people you registered with at check in. Ok bye ✌️
