The rooms were clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. I wish we had some auxiliary lighting in the room- but that did not impact our experience here. I enjoyed their breakfast choices. Zen!

Fabulous Stay at Tradewinds Carmel.

Lovely room (room 19) with stunning view. We found this hotel to be spotlessly clean with very friendly staff. The condition of the property was like new. Overall the Tradewinds exceeded our expectations. Would stay again in Room 19.

The location was great, quiet and off the beaten path, but close enough to walk all over Carmel. The staff was awesome. Our only issues, other than the high price, was the bed seemed old, bouncy and uncomfortable and the free continental breakfast, ( you can choose different options)which was brought to the room in a cute basket, was lacking and minimal.

Fun birthday trip with friends

The pictures don’t do this place justice! I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. The rooms and the hotel grounds are very well kept. I love the grounds with all of the details and sitting areas. The room was well appointed and I had plenty of space to unpack all my things comfortably. The beds are very comfortable. I also loved the balcony and patio in our room and the privacy screens between the rooms. We all loved the breakfast delivery every morning! The location was great and we were able to walk to most areas for dining and shopping.

Fun, relaxing place!

Loved everything about this place. We felt spoiled by the breakfast basket brought to our door in the AM, and relaxed by the decor of the room and grounds, and the view from our balcony. Loved the softness of the sheets, and comfortable bed. Walkablility was great. Lots of amazing restaurants within easy walking distance, yet plenty of parking for the hotel. Also was glad we could charge our Tesla right at our hotel.

Nice spot a couple blocks uphill from Ocean with a comfy Zen vibe. Rooms nicely appointed most with balconies but not all with views. We looked at the roof next door - our only disappointment. The people upstairs were noisy. Get a room on the top floor with a view!

Perfect place to stay.

The grounds, rooms, and views were beautiful. Staff was extremely nice and informative. Location is ideal as well. Only 2 to 3 blocks from the main drag, but nice and quiet without any traffic. We’ve stayed at many places in the area before and this is definitely my favorite. Next time we travel there, I will call them first!
