Great location and breakfast

Great located hotel in the city centre, close to lots of shopping. Every tour and landmark we wanted to visit was within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel bed was comfortable, bathroom was modern and clean. Rooms were air conditioned and bright. Downsides were old and stained carpets throughout the hotel, had requested two singles beds and got a double. However overall very happy with the stay

The hotel was quiet and clean, just that there was something like a big beam in the hotel.

Good location. Fine hotel.

This is a decent hotel in a prime location. Generous, well appointed breakfast is a highlight. The rooms and hotel itself are a little worn, but clean. Our room’s AC didn’t actually blow cold air, fortunately, it was quite pleasant for our stay so it wasn’t a huge issue.

Good experience, probably the heating mill work better in the traditional way insted of hot air, but great

Would pass next time

The front desk was nice and helpful. But had to switch rooms twice due to poor WiFi and AC. The breakfast was good though. Wouldn’t stay again.

6/10 Good

This property location is ok but the dirty and smelly old carpets from hall ways to inside the rooms needs to be replaced.
Angelito, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Bed was comfy and great location. But it was very very hot in the room and no AC. Just a fan that wasnt really working. Breakfast ok.

6/10 Good

Looks can be deceiving. Hotel lobby is dingy and claustrophobic. Room was much better. But very conveniently located within walking distance of main attractions in Prague.
tamim, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Staff were pretty rude. It was pretty clean but bed sheet had a stain. Rooms could do with a bit of renovating and the air conditioning was loud and useless
Patrick, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The location was amazing and for the most part, the room was wonderful. The common areas, such as the hallways needs some TLC. The carpet in the hall in particular was pretty rough. BUT the rooms didn't have and carpet and were very nice and clean. There are no USB plugs in the room, so that was surprising considering it seemed to be recently renovated and the AC didn't function. The room was VERY hot at night, and we tried to turn on the air and not only did it not blow cold air, it was hot air. The window did open, but it was a busy area and was loud outside so that wasn't a great set up. The location was wonderful though and made for very easy walking to all of the things we wanted to see.

Short break in Prague at the Friday Hotel.

The Friday Hotel is situated in a good location in Prague with easy access to the old and new town settings. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful, greatly appreciated. The bedroom room was large with a wonderful shower room but the bedroom decor was very plain/dull and would benefit from a more dynamic makeover. The breakfast was plentiful with a good buffet choice. The hot food choice was mainly cold (this could be improved greatly)but the pastries were very nicely presented. There is no bar area/ service or ground floor toilet in this particular Hotel, which was very disappointing.
Jo, 6-night trip

2/10 Poor

This hotel is 2 stars at best. Do not book this hotel if you are coming with a car. People at the front are totally useless. We were told that we can not pull up to the hotel with our car to unload luggage. Which is not correct. The girl at the front told us we need to walk with our luggage for 4 blocks on cobblestones street. No one in the hotel to help you with luggage. The garage is far and a nightmare. Breakfast is horrible. Juice is just a yellow water, we had a choice of cold hard boiled egg or cold burned sunny side up. Even coffee was bad, forget having any pastries with coffee. Staled hard pastries. We ended up getting stuff from a nearby store and bring it with us to the cafeteria, so we could have breakfast. One if the worse hotels I ever stayed.
Alexander, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

The room wasn’t quite as nice as the images showed although I’m sure some of the rooms were nicer than others. There was silverfish in the bathroom and a cabbagey smell coming out of the drain. There was also a lot of noise in the morning as the bins were collected in the street but the location was very convenient. The vents were loud in the room and there was no way to turn it down that we could find. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was decent, the free tea and coffee was much appreciated.
3-night trip

6/10 Good

Loved the location of this place -- the place is safe to walk around and is lively even at night. The breakfast is really good even though the same daily. The free coffee machine is awesome! HOWEVER, its in a noisy location and one can hear hollering at night. The worse part of this hotel is the super unhelpful staff. They dont offer anything -- didnt speak English well and when we asked for some options for sightseeing juts handed us some brochures and didnt have any answers to our questions on the brochures. The guy especially was soooo unhelpful even on simple things. Like I wanted to some soap in teh evening -- he just said that the housekeeper store is locked which was NOT true since I came back later in the evening and the girl behind the counter was able to procure it. The guy just wnated to sit and surf and not do any work. OK place overall but dont expect beyond a bed and a room
Archana, 4-night trip

8/10 Very good

Nice place close to Old Town Square.

We had 2 rooms for our family of 5. One of our rooms was exactly as pictured on the Hotels.com site…the other room was old, outdated, and dirty. It had old dirty carpet, and the room smelled bad. We requested a change of room, but they weren’t able to accommodate us until our second night. The new room we were moved to had nice flooring, like the photos on Hotels.com, and was clearly remodeled. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room was broken, in the middle of July, so it was hot. We requested it be fixed 3 times, although they sent someone up, it was never actually fixed. The people were nice, and helpful, and the breakfast was nice as well. The hotel is a 5 min walk to Old Town Square which was great bc we didn’t need an Uber to see everything we were interested in. It’s close to lots of museums, restaurants, and street vendors as well. I’d suggest requesting a remodeled room.
