What should have been a special weekend for my daughter, who was in town for a cheer competition, turned into an extremely stressful and disappointing experience due to the poor condition of the hotel and the lack of comfort, cleanliness, and basic accommodations we were promised.
From the moment we checked in, the issues began.
Our first room was unacceptable. The bed sheets were visibly stained, which immediately raised serious concerns about the cleanliness and sanitation of the room. In addition, the room was located facing the parking garage, and we were forced to endure constant vehicle noise throughout the night, making it very difficult to rest.Because of the condition of the first room, we were moved to a second room, but unfortunately, that room was no better and created even more inconvenience. We went from having two beds to only one bed, which was not appropriate for our stay. The bed in the second room was also very uncomfortable and bowed in the middle, making it difficult to sleep and clearly not in suitable condition for guests.
The second room also had several unacceptable maintenance and housekeeping issues, including:
No running water in the kitchen sink
No towels in the room upon arrival, requiring us to go back downstairs to request them
A shower with extremely low water flow
A shower head that was not working properly, making it nearly impossible to shower comfortably
To make matters worse, the hotel was clearly under renovation, yet
