Staff was very friendly. However the room was a total letdown: overall ugly with a bunk bed in front of the window (I was travelling alone), noisy and hard bed, bleak lighting. The bathroom was old with a small shower head and weak flow of just warm water. It's ok for young budget travellers. It's very cheap for L.A., so I guess you get what you paid for.

Only downside was no hot water an hour before check out. Thankfully we were headed home and a shower was not a requirement.
