Upon arrival I was given a free upgrade. My room modern, spacious and spotless. Lovely comfortable large bed. The spa nice and clean too. Pool temp good and loved the jacuzzi. Although I hadn't pre booked, the restaurant fit me in and I had a lovely meal. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The fire alarm went off twice at 6.00 & 7.00 am which was annoying. The pool was closed during the second day until 6.30 at night. It's a newly renovated hotel, quiet location and lovely staff. Wouldn't say it's 4 star though. There are no complimentary toiletries and the in-room refreshments are meagre. More a high end 3 star but would recommend without hesitation and plan on returning. Hopefully no early morning wake- up alarms though.

Plenty of spaces in the car park and the hotel and grounds look great, although the lifts are rather battered and probably near the end of their service life. The bathroom extractor wasn't working, so when we first arrived the bathroom smelt quite stale. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and quiet. A decent TV, kettle and tea/coffee sachets are provided, but these amenities could be improved (e.g. decaf as well as regular coffee sachets, maybe a biscuit or two). Overall, the hotel has a business-orientated feel; great for meetings etc. but a little short on home comforts.

Was a bit wary about this stay as we've had bad experiences in Brittania hotels before. However, these fears were unfounded. It was excellent, enormous room, with TV to match. Pool and spa were great. Spotless throughout. Mikey on reception was very helpful and welcoming. Overall excellent stay, only improvement could be air conditioning, although temperature remained pleasant in the room even in hot weather.

The rooms are nice and big enough however no air-con so was too warm for me. It was cheap compared to other hotels in the area, maybe due to the recent changing of use from a migrant hotel (as many taxi drivers were quick to tell me). We didn’t use the swimming pool but were advised that the gym was out of action. The bar was fine and the food selection seemed good. The breakfast on the Sunday was a shambles with the coffee machine not working, too few staff and little on the hot buffet as only one chef. Staff were quick to refund the costs and there’s a Starbucks at the front for a more continental option. In all it is well placed and good value for a stay but they need to improve on a few key aspects if it is to do well.

Lovely hotel, would definitely recommend. I will absolutely be staying here again. Staff were very happy and helpful, room was clean and had everything you needed. There was mark on one of the towel that was in the bathroom, so maybe the cleaners just need to check the towels a bit more throughly, but as whole very pleased with the hotel and as already stated, I will absolutely stay here again.
