The employers and customer service at Sina Palazzo Sant’Angelo were EXCELLENT. They were so considerate and kind when we checked in and were very helpful rescheduling our next day train when our train was cancelled because of the strike. I was underwhelmed at my stay at this hotel. In short it was fine, but it lacked the charm I thought it would have based on other reviews and pictures. I appreciated that this hotel was situated away from the action and was within waking distance to all the main attractions. Unfortunately it is also located next to a public taxi stop so you can hear boats coming in at all hours. The quality of the breakfast was average at best and served in a very dull room. The hotel itself felt dated but clean and well maintained. The rooms we selected were large and had canal views as promised. The sound proofing wasn't great, fortunately the room next to mine was my family. The hotel is primarily accessible via water taxi and arriving this way is charming. The hotel staff were nice and friendly. Overall, we wanted to experience being at a hotel with a Canal view so this was a good, but not great option.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was excellent — it’s in very close proximity to the Alilaguna Orange Line, which made getting around so easy and convenient. Our room was absolutely gorgeous and very spacious. We had a huge bathroom with a bidet, a large living room area, and even a jacuzzi in the bathroom, which was such a nice and relaxing touch. Everything felt beautiful, comfortable, and well thought out. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help, which made the experience even better. I would absolutely stay here again if given the opportunity and would highly recommend it to others visiting Italy.
