Loved it got a free upgrade. My adult daughter and I enjoyed the pool, breakfast, gym and other facilities. Did the Madeira tasting evening which was yummy, with plenty of food, and wine, well worth it. Car park was a little tricky required reversing in, if arriving back later in the evening, but that added to the adventure of the holiday. Thank you

Hot tub was not heated! Pool was too cold to go in, but the weather was chilly so we wouldn’t have wanted to go in anyways. The breakfast was great. Excellent selection of fresh fruits, bakery, eggs, yogurt. There are no amenities in the room. No ice bucket, snacks, shampoo, conditioner, lotion. Shower was very small and the bed was shot on one side, the other side of the bed was comfortable. No furniture on patio view of the ocean. We traveled very far to visit Madeira and these accommodations fell short for us unfortunately.

The hotel was very dated. The parking situation was horrible (lot to the side that the passenger would have get out to push the button to open each time you would enter or exit). The breakfast is an additional charge each day, and although I did not eat (I had a cup of coffee), I was charged for a full meal. Even checking out was hell - would not recommend this property.
