Staff was warm and friendly. However, the overall look and feel of the inside of the hotel feels a bit less than I would expect from the DoubleTree brand. The location is good as I was attending the Lone Star Rally and the hotel is just a few blocks from the Beach Central stage.

The location was great. The staff was very friendly. The only problem was the only had one elevator that took a little while to get up and down to your room. I would stay at this property again.
