Lovely couple running a quaint hotel with a B&B feel to it Have going there for years on Canadian Ski Marathon weekend and they are up at 3:30 AM to make sure all are well fed before the event starts around 6 AM

The Auberge Montebello was a beautiful place to stay with a lot of history. Our room viewed the river and was very comfortable. A very short walk down to the marina for the sunset was nice. The hospitality was wonderful.

I don't like the fact there was no elevator, the hallway was very hot, wifi connection isn't good, old tv, old air conditioning,and the pool wasn't very clean. But the staff is very nice, the room is clean, not much choices for breakfast but it was fine.

It's never fun to arrive at a place and see that it's for sale, but it is what it is. The couple running the place were welcoming and I wish them all the best in finding someone to run this old inn that has a lot of history, a building part of the Montebello town, and has soo much potential for growth.

To give the rooms for complete 24 hours, we got there at 8:00 PM and left at 10:30 of the next day, we used it only for 14 Hours, although the rent was for 24 hours.

A Memorable Experience

The owners are an engaging couple who have more than a decade of hospitality experience. They are courteous and most helpful. Their hotel is clean and well managed. My stay was made memorable when they facilitated a friend’s surprise gift of wine and roses then added their own extra special offering of birthday cake and candles. Personalized friendly service at it’s best!

Very old but nice building unfortunately there was a lot of ladybugs in the room during our stay and had 2 fall on me while laying in the bed. One on my face and the other on my hand. I barely slept since I couldn’t fully relax due to the bugs. There was also a wasp in the room

Very mediocre property and over priced. Ripped sheets , exposed wires and the worst, most mediocre free breakfast I have seen in 36 years. Talk about cheap. Spring for a proper breakfast or at least some apples. The cheapest option possible and a very poor last impression on an already mediocre property.
