The hotel is right in the middle of town easy walking distance to public transit, hikes, stores, restaurants and bars. The folks at the hotel were all very nice and helpful. The room itself was perfectly comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for a stay.

Great location, very good restaurant with a terrace perched higher than the street around it (slight view of the lake). Staff was very courteous, pool and hot tub were large and the space around it big (with sauna too); better than most hotels. Room was larger than usual for Europe.

Déception

Hôtel assez vétuste qui n'a pas été rénové depuis assez longtemps semble t'il. Au vu des autres hôtels a proximité je ne pense pas que cela soit beaucoup mieux. Nous avions une chambre double supérieure avec vue sur le lac, la photo est trompeuse...oui on voit le lac mais surtout l'énorme parking au jas de l'immeuble et le centre commercial en face. Petit déjeuner avec choix mais de très médiocre qualité. L'hôtel dispose d'une piscine d'une autre temps mais qui fait le job. Bref 4 étoiles mais il y a 30 ans. Compte tenu du rapport qualité prix je vous le déconseille. D'autres hôtels sont mieux placés si vous souhaitez une vraie vue sur le lac.

The hotel was amazing from the moment we arrived AMEL helped us get everything set up and even went out of his way to insure the sofa bed was made and ready for us to crash, the breakfast buffet was great, we are traveling across Europe and stopped to do the zip line tour, and found this gem of a hotel. The hot and swimming pool were a life saver we would us them the facilities, everyday and it was very relaxing, after a hard day of playing and a few drinks at the local pub If your looking to stay in bled you can go wrong with hotel Lovec

Beautiful hotel and location

The service and location was perfect. Walkable to food, bus and transport hub and most importantly the beautiful Lake Bled. The free breakfast was excellent -very high end. Room was clean and comfortable. Our only complaint -and it’s small - was that the inky AC was a portable unit that was noisy and more like a fan. We preferred having the window open since it was cool outside but the street noise was then a bit loud. Otherwise, we would absolutely stay again!

The property has a good central location only a couple of minutes from the lakeside. The lakeview rooms have views of both the castle and the island but be aware this is not a waterfront property and there is a supermarket between the hotel and the lake. The view is still very nice but don't expect perfection. The staff were all friendly and attentive. We had to leave before 7am on our final day and it was no trouble for them to prepare us a takeaway breakfast. So of the bathroom fitting were old and worn but everything was still functional.
