A weird mix of new and run down. Furniture & carpet looked new, but bathtub was stained and gross looking, vent was rusted, corners pealing. no curtains on windows, bathdoor was splattered with something smoke detector totally missing, bed was on what looked like a folding frame and mattress didnt cover the whole frame (I kept stubbing my toe on the uprights). Mattress and bedding looked new and was comfortable. Refrigerator did not get fully cool, microwave not functional. Outside, several windows were broken out with glass everywhere. I saw one window boarded up. Seemed like a sketchy neighborhood.

Room was great! Beds were comfortable. Very nice hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, make-your-own-waffles, bread, jelly, fruit, cereal, milk, juice, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had to stay an additional night due to weather and there was no problem doing that. The only problem was the front door(s). The outside door was hanging on by a single hinge so cold air (and snow) was coming inside the entryway thru the gaps where the door wouldn’t close. The second front door, going into the lobby, did not shut because the door closure wasn’t attached so most often, that door was standing wide open. The lobby and all the halls were very cold. Thankfully, the rooms were nice & warm! I’d stay there again but hope they get the front door fixed soon.
