The front desk agent who checked me in on December 22, 2025, was very pleasant, helpful, and friendly. However, my room was not 'Sea View' as reserved. Also, breakfast is not currently provided, due to the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, which is understandable -- but the listing on Expedia needed to be updated accordingly.

The owner, Rose, is Jamaican and also a U.S. citizen so she has the right combination of hospitality and practicality. She and her family run the business so everyone is invested in your comfort. Rose and a family member drove 45 minutes at 8 o'clock at night to bring us a spare tire for our rental car. She shared dinners at no charge. She took us places to experience the local way of life. Maybe she liked us?.. or maybe she just likes what she does. I saw other guests being treated with the same personal touch. If you would like a place that feels like home, this is the place.

If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and also comfortable mindset you have book with our lovely Miss Rose and Narval will take care of your every need. I booked at the last minute as soon as i arrived in Jamaica, and Narval was very accommodating with the last minute booking and also making sure the transition for myself to settle in after a long flight was perfect.
