A great convenient stay in the heart of jerusalem

This property has a perfect location in Jerusalem. It’s walkable to the main sites and very close to the city rail line. The apartment is really well designed and truly makes the most of its size. We were a family of 5 and felt spacious enough. The downside of the stay was the communication before our arrival. It was pretty difficult to reach them via email or phone but eventually everything worked out fine

A Great Stay

A great hotel at the centre of Jerusalem within walking distance to the old city. Staff is courteous and helpful. Great value for money. Highly Recommended !

To get a 2 bedroom suite at this price was a great, but then you factor in the amazing location, and this place is a gem! The suite had 2 bathrooms, which made our family of 4 very happy. The water was hot, and the rooms were clean, not spotless. When you factor in the low price, we were very happy with everything. When you're this close to the Jaffa Gate, the pedestrian-only shopping streets, and the Mamilla Mall, you never need transportation, but if you do, the train is a block away. One downside of the room is the windows don't let much light in, so it can feel a little cave-like. We did appreciate the second bedroom was a safe room, with a steel door and heavy locks.

Amazing find!

The staff accommodated us with everything we needed and were super friendly. The location of the hotel couldn’t be beat. After a long day- it was walking distance from wherever we wanted to be.

6/10 Good

Great location - basic room.

This is a well located small hotel on the first floor of an apartment building. The rooms are very small and basic. Bathroom is tiny. Good for a night in Jerusalem and the location is great but is it very basic. Again, it was clean and a 5 minute walk to the old city and to the city center but could not be more basic of a room...

Very bed

This not an hotel. It’s maybe an hostel and not a good one. There is no reception or people to provide service. It’s build under an regiulat city building, as part of it. So all Rooms face the building court. It is ugly, and have no vacation feel related. Now this place hosting families from the areas of Israel people evacuated, so it’s noisy and dirty

Much better than it looked

When we got out of the taxi we were a bit worried as it looked a little rundown from the outside. However, the room was lovely and the staff were incredibly helpful. Helped sort out getting to the airport economically despite needing to be there at 3am. Also sorted out a tour which was excellent. Just a 5 minute walk to where tours start. The only criticism is that it would have been nice to have had some milk in the fridge to to with tea and coffee facilities, but we bought some. Also, there is no breakfast, so if you’re on an early start for a tour, best to buy some fruit the evening before. We would stay again.

This property was highly mis advertised and misrepresented. When we arrived there was a locked gate to what apparently was the area of the property and we had to ask around to see if anyone knew how to enter the property and where it was exactly located. There was a code that was needed for the above gate and that code was not provided nor was it apparent which of the three gates that had a code panel was the one that we should use. Once we got assistance from a local apartment resident - he had no clue where the hotel was - even though it was right next to his apartment. We finally figured out where the entrance to the hotel was (there was no sign on the solid door to the hotel) there was no person at the front desk and the phone number to call on the website did not work. The photos of the hotel were in no way representative of how the property Appleseed in person. I requested two twin beds - as this was listed as an option and I was never answered. The pullout couch that we were informed was the “second” bd was not made up and two individuals (one with extremely bad body odour) were “summoned by the owner and placed the sheets on the bed. They hurried out of the property and despite arranging for us to drop the keys to them the next day at 1pm - they never showed up and we had to leave they keys for them outside the property. I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY- EVER

Terrible terrible stay. I wouldn't stay there even for free. The rooms are falling apart, the noise level was out do this world, we could hear people literally screaming throughout the night. Stay away, unless you don't like to sleep.

6/10 Good

It is a fantastic location. But the hotel isn’t great. Shower leaks everywhere, the fire alarms in the hall beep every 2 minutes and non of the receptionists seemed to care and there is construction or something outside that is very loud early. Fine if you get it at a great price, but know what you are getting

Poor maintenance - good location

The place is not well maintained, the photos is probably taken a few years back when the place was new. It's pretty much falling apart, we didn't have hot water in one of the rooms. Kind of noisy environment. The location is excellent ! Really nice . In my opinion It's can't be called a hotel... It's more like small apartments inn or something like that. If it was well maintained it could have been a good option . For the current condition it's over priced.

Great Location, Comfortable Room - But Very Noisy.

Great Location, Comfortable Room - But Very Noisy. More Hostel like than Hotel !! The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect — within walking distance to the city center, the Old City, and Mahane Yehuda Market. You really can’t beat it for convenience and atmosphere. The room itself was large and very comfortable, offering plenty of space and all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. However, the major downside was the noise. The hotel is located beneath an older residential building, and you can hear everything from above — kids playing ball, riding scooters, and generally making a lot of noise directly overhead. It was extremely disturbing, especially during lunch resting time and evenings. Noise from neighboring rooms was also quite noticeable. If you’re a light sleeper or looking for peace and quiet, this might be a challenge. But if location and comfort are your priorities and you don’t mind the noise, it could still be a good option.

1) Especially if expecting to arrive late: make sure you have manager's contact info and instructions on where the entrance is and how to get in! 2) Pro: a) perfect location - steps from Ben Yehuda St., and 10 min walk to Old City, b) large - my room was really two separate rooms with two full bathrooms - perfect for a family, c) quiet 3) Con: a) hardly any storage, b) needs a deep cleaning, c) needs a table and chairs (plenty of room for this)

Ground floor of an old building. This is not a hotel!! Whoever gave the place a permit to operate as a hotel should be sent to prison! We had an missile alarm at night and there is no protected safe space!!! Contrary to all the safety rules of operating a hotel, there is no protected safe space. Hair in the shower and hair bands from previous guests, used soaps. No one at the reception. In short, God forbid, THIS IS NOT A HOTEL
